Can anyone recommend a good swivel-arm mount for my Dell UltraSharp 2405FPW 24" LCD Monitor? I have turned a closet into a small office and I am trying to conserve space. One great way to do that would be to get this beast of a monitor off of the desk - so i would like a swivel arm, but I have no idea what to get - anyone have any good ideas? thanks yahoo!
How can i mount a 19" lcd computer monitor on a wall? I want to mount my computer monitor on the wall with a swing arm. How do i know if it will mount to the back of the monitor? I want to use the wall mount swing arm so i can get rid of my computer table and have more room.
What LCD arm has 8" lift, 180 deg tilt, 360 deg monitor rotation, 360 deg pan, LCD size I looked into: 1. MX Desk Mount LCD Arm http://www.ergotron.com/Products/tabid/65/PRDID/56/language/en-US/default.aspx only problem I had with it is that it's tilt is 75 deg up but ONLY 5 deg down. When the monitor is lifted high, wouldn't you want to tilt it down more than 5 degs? And i would want to lift the monitor high because I have a bookstand with a book standing upright infront of it. 2. 7Flex® LCD Arm http://www.lcdarms.com/products/LCD_Radial_Arms/7Flex.html Problem I have with this: 1) the monitor can't rotate (landscape, portrait) 2) only 4 - 14.5 lbs that is lcd size <= 22" 3) $179 over priced. I am picky, but i feel like the features that I want are essential. And the MX only miss the tilt. Feel free to look up if this interests you. But mostly I am trying to ask someone who bought an lcd arm with all the features I listed. Maybe the 2 links I provided helped someone who is looking for an lcd arm. And please useful answers only.

LVM-42w2 42-inch 1080p LCD Monitor help? I just bought this tv. It doesn't come with built-in tuners. I cannot afford "digital" cable. What is my best option to utilize this tv without spending an arm and a leg. I saw the KWorld 1600 LCD TV Box TV Tuner ( VGA NTSC ) - KW-TV1600R as an option, however it only goes up to 1600 x 1200 while the tv goes up to1920 x 1080. Will this pose a problem? Thank you in advance.

Stuck screw - How to get it out if it doesn't tighten or loosen? I have an lcd monitor mounted to an LCD arm like this one: http://www.woodparts.ca/media/erg-530.jpg I was unmounting the monitor today and took 3 of the 4 screws out. The 4th screw however isn't loosening no matter how much I turn counter-clockwise. I tried turning it clockwise to tighten it but nothing happens doing that either. It's just turning with no effect. Then I tried just pulling the mount and monitor apart but that didn't work. After I tried turning both ways while pushing the screw down as hard as I can. I grabbed a powerdrill and did the same thing with that but got no results. Help! The last screw isn't stripped, I can still use a screwdriver and turn it. The problem is that nothing happens when I turn it either way. I took the LCD arm off the desk and put it on my bed with the monitor resting flat. I'm not all that familiar with tools and might buy the wrong thing so if you can please show me a link. Thanks thanks The back of the monitor can't be removed, not unless I crack the monitor open.

Is there such a thing as a monitor that goes on my lap? Here the deal: I have a big, comfortable recliner that I like to sit in and use my computer. I watch movies, play games, and otherwise have a great time. This is great and all, except my laptop is over three years old and cannot be upgraded, and I need a new one. I would prefer a desktop because its cheaper, I can build it myself, and I can upgrade individual parts as necessary. There is just one problem: I want to sit in my chair. There is no space in the room for a desk, and I want to sit back, put my feet up, and compute. This is no problem for a keyboard and mouse, I can just get one of those lap desk things, but I dare not balance a whole LCD on it. What do I do? Is there a monitor that can sit upright on my lap but still attach to a desktop? Maybe one that attaches to an arm on a nearby wall? I need solutions, people! God, I wish I could edit questions. "Here's the deal" is clearly what I meant. Hey there, Sammy. You know what isn't "rediculous?" Spell-checking!
Dual-Screen Gaming Dilemma? So I have two 22" LCD monitors right now. When I play online games like Combat Arms (FPS), it pops up on the primary one. Is it possible to make it open on the second monitor? And does anyone know an windows mode program that works with Combat Arms? Thanks :)

I have a seven year old HP Pavilion 8720 computer with a Nvidia Vanta (HP) video card. I use Windows XP. The resolution options I get in Windows XP don't include 1440x900 resolution. Many new video cards I checked don't either. What do I need to do to get my computer to put out true 1440x900 resolution? I'm not a gamer, so I don't need super-duper bells and whistles if a new video card is necessary. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg. I went on the HP website and downloaded an upgrade video card driver (looked like it's dated 2001 based on the ID number) and it didn't fix the problem. I set my display to 1152x864 which was the highest resolution I could set without exceeding the 900 pixel max of the monitor, but the titles at the top of my browser screen are not as clear as they could be. The monitor doesn't come with any loadable drivers. Model HP Pavilion 8720 CTO System Number D7205Y I was looking at a Nvidia GeForce 6200 for about $41 which had some good reviews along with some other cards by Nvidia but none listed 1440x900 as specifically recognized. This is a bit more than I wanted to spend but will spend this if I have to.
Hunting for a Graphics Tablet. Help!? Hey. I'm on the hunt for a good graphics tablet (and, preferably, one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to afford). The thing is, I know what I want in it (basically). The tricky part is finding it. ...and.. I don't quite know where to go to start looking for what I want, nor any brand names to look into. Here's my outline. I don't want it to be table-top huge, nor as small as a 4x6 inch. Just, moderately, comfortably sized. I want it to have the ability to connect with my pc but it doesn't NEED that connection to function. It can be used all on its own when I'm away from the pc, but connect to it when I want to transfer the image from the g.t. to my pc to put online or ...whatever. (Or if it has pc / internet abilities, that'd work too, though I already have 1 pc with internet ability. Another, I think, might just be a bit of overkill.) Write / see on screen like this http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:Bh2DkmxXVD-85M:http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/8395/tabletcuwd1.jpg or http://www.mobilewhack.com/images/adesso_cybertablet_m17_lcd_monitor.jpg And you can see on the g.t. screen what you're touching or drawing (not one of those where you have the g.t. on your lap and are drawing on there, but have to look to the computer screen to actually see the image.) Hm... that's about it for the basics. If anyone can help me out here, or at least help to fine tune my search parameters, I'd seriously appreciate it! Please and thanks in advance!
Ok, So I got my Xbox 360 HD VGA Cable.....? Ok, So I got my Xbox 360 HD VGA Cable from Futureshop...it's sweet. Now my 360 can play on my sweet ass Samsung Syncmaster 226BW 22" LCD computer monitor... The problem is, if i want to use my 360 i have to swivel it around, uplug my computer cable, and insert the xbox cable. Is there any way around this without spending a ton of money? It's a huge inconvenience and i would like to be able to switch between my computer and my 360 at a whim just in case, you know, the girlfiend calls... However, if it costs me an arm and a leg, i doubt it would be worth it... Keep in mind i'm not too computer savvy and I don't understand all of the associated terminology... so go easy on me....maybe even break it down abit... Any Suggestions are welcome, Thanks again.... I'm am living a miserable life and I'm afraid of getting cancer? I'm 15 years old I am constantly afraid of getting cancer. Do you think I am over-worrying, or if I am normal thinking like this. Everytime I'm exposed to radiation, I am always afraid that I will catch cancer. For example, I am currently concerned about my health since I placed my arm right beside the computer monitor and left it there for a couple of minutes. I've done this many times. Also, I use the computer a lot so I'm scared about the radiation from the monitor to my body. I understand the fact that the monitor I use (LCD) emits VERY low amounts of radiation, but still, I use the computer for about 6-8 hours each day. Because of this, I think I am falling under depression. Whenever I see people happy, I feel like crying because I'm scared I will never be able to be as happy as them. Today, one of our family friends was asking me what I wanted to be when I grow up and I started to want to cry because I was scared I wouldn't have a future. The very moment I write this I feel like crying, because I am VERY terrified. Please help me. What can I do? I can't go see a counselor nor a psychologist since I am 15 and I don't want my parents to know that I'm very upset :(

I am thinking about buying a laptop but I am concerned about my carpel tunnel sydrome problem? I have a typical desktop that fits nicely over a computer desk. Wouldn't a laptop pose a problem for those who have to sit a proper way to use a desktop...arms parellel to the ground. The seat of the keyboard rest for my desktop couldn't suuppose the length of the laptop, plus there is a problem with the lcd screen...i would have to look down at the laptop...raising the laptop would to eye level won't give me easy access and reach to the keyboards unless I connect a desktop keyboard to the laptop but I would also have to place a stand underneath the laptop to be positioned like a normal monitor? And resolution? Or did I answer (regular keyboard and a stand for the laptop) my own question? keeping the keyboards chest level would put too much pressure on the far sides of each wrist...why not keep the kb at stomatch or gut level?
New Web site graphics problems? Hey, I'm in the process of creating a new MMA website. I'm still getting the main graphics composed. I'm using a nice bright LCD screen, which seems to be fooling me. I viewed my page on my laptop and it came out fine. Now, when I viewed it on my other home system, desktop, it came out looking like a JPG image. It was still viewable, but it wasn't crisp, the red lines were sort of blurred, the cage that was behind the 321RADIO.NET logo at the top was so dark almost invisible. The picture which is also in the banner, at the top, was almost invisible. The hand/arm in the main menu area was very dark and gritty. Can someone tell me what it appears to look like on there computer? I want to know if I need to do something else, or if I can continue editing and just assume Im having problems on my other monitor... Thanks!
